These are the best moments in landscape photography! I hiked out to spend the night here under storm clouds. Thankfully it didn’t storm, but instead I awoke 10 minutes before the clouds started lighting up to the sound of so many pikas and birds calling out into the dawn. The tundra was a carpet of flowers and there’s few spots where the mountains look this rugged and majestic so it was fun to spend so much time here. I spent the enitre day here and waited for the last light to start the hike home.
