This was a particularly beautiful morning a couple of days ago. Hiked out to the flowers well before sunrise, and sat listening to so many birds wake with the blue light of dawn while a herd of 100+ elk on an opposite hillside began their chirping and calls with the light of the sun soon after. The flowers have been amazing so far this year and hopefully they will continue so throughout the summer as the higher elevations melt out.
