Will Wilson show itself? That was the question yesterday morning near Telluride. I had another shot in mind, but when I got my first glimpse of where Wilson should be there were just clouds. I changed my plans and just parked in a pullout on the highway and just waited. As the dawn grew closer the clouds abated, and you could see the fresh snow that capped the peaks. Another few minutes later Wilson Peak was hit by the alpenglow creating just about everything you could want in a fall photo of a Colorado.
