I was driving through the Lamar Valley in a snowstorm when all of a sudden I thought I saw one wolf at the treeline. I didn’t want to get my hopes up too high that it was a wolf because I’d been fooled by some far off coyotes several times already, but another second later I saw the black one walking through the trees.
