Yellowstone National Park
As I sat watching the Great Grey owl hunt I occasionally heard calls from the deeper in the forest! My friend said that was the babies calling to be fed so we wandered in. After another 10 minute walk there they were! They may have just been the cutest thing I’ve ever photographed. One was on a branch about 10 feet up, the other was about 40 ft up and kinda hidden in the trees. After another 30 minutes of sitting with them the dad swooped in to a chorus of hoots from them and nervous barks/calls from squirrels and other birds in the immediate area to feed them! Of course they all flew into some trees so thick I couldn’t see them together, but it was fun to hear all the commotion!
