Baby Bison
Yellowstone National Park
A bison mother and maybe an hour old calf on the banks of the Gibbon River and the steaming Beryl Springs. When I happened upon them, the baby bison was trying out walking and had just managed standing as Mom rested and cleaned it. When I left, the baby was figuring out how great napping is as mom stood watch.
